During the breakout session, the participants will be divided into three groups to share their experience and discuss several topics.

-          Topic Discussion (15 minutes per question)

1.          What are the emerging innovations in reducing/mitigating weather-related disaster losses in your economy?

2.          What are the efforts required to help your society adopt these innovative approaches to achieving success in reducing disaster losses?

3.          What are the major barriers and capacity building priorities for implementing these innovative tools?

4.          How can the financial tools (e.g., flood insurance, cat bond) help your economy manage risk due to climate change and other long-term changes?
